I'm usually pretty comfortable using ISO 1600 on my 400D whenever needed.. As long as the shot is not underexposed, the noise is pretty acceptable
No NR applied to this one either, coz I felt that whatever noise is there is actually adding to the mood of the photo
You first see a photo with your mind, and then capture it with your camera!

Turn....what lens was that taken with??? Looks very sharp and I also like the bokeh...nice shot....

Nice shot, Turn.
The 50mm is better than people think... just a little dreamy at f/1.4-1.6 but I love it the same.
This shot is a pushed ISO 1600 by one stop... so it's ISO 3200 on the XSi.

Two more reasons for me to upgrade to the 50mm f1.4 but unfortunately they don't have it in stock....maybe I'll go for the Sigma variant....

Nothing to impressive to show but I wanted to say hello to everyone and hope that you all had a great halloween. This is my front entry of our house. First time I've had my own house that I could decorate for halloween. Pumpkin is my favorite part!!
