Faisal-I believe the shutter was 1/60 according to my meta data. Like I said this was my first picture with the camera so I am still learning a lot about DSLR's just in general and I was just experimenting seeing what different modes and settings and how it affected the picture so its not perfect. But I do appreciate the criticism that's what I need in order to become a lot better!

If I'm right...the new Kit lens sweet spot lies at f5.6 up to f8. You are better shooting there than at f22. Also a shutter speed of 1/60 is slow for such a shot. You could have used a much faster one. My advice is to start with the AV mode that lets you set the aperture and ISO while varying the shutter speed according to each shots exposure. That's how I started initially.....then you can move slowly to the complete manual mode...stay away from auto modes though unless you really need it...

    Droopy - nice.

Stabile - I agree with faisal. Try to stay at f/10 or under if possible, but if you need to shoot at a higher f stop, then do it. Yesterday I needed to slow my shutter speed so I shot at f/13. The point is don't be afraid to shoot at these aperatures if you need to, but don't do it unless the situation requires you to.
