Unfortunately the palace is only open to the public one day a year, Jan 1st. I would have loved to see the inside. The closest I could get was right where I took my first shot. Still, lovely grounds to spend the afternoon in.

I've been away from the forums for a while, and have barely touched my camera in over a month. An insane start of the school year preceded by some family tragedy means no time for photography.

Man, there's been some amazing stuff in this thread recently! I'm blown away looking at the last few pages! Nick--was the TS hard to use? I saw that there's a new version of the Lensbaby that was introduced at Photokina--looks a lot easier than the old design. I've always been partial to that effect, but I know it's not for everyone.

Here's a shot I took in early August at Union Station in Washington DC. Playing with film grain....

Hey, sorry to hear about the family problems.

The TS was surprisingly easy to use. It didn't come with instructions so I just fumbled may way around the thing but it didn't take long. It makes me want a lens baby that's for sure. I haven't heard of this newly designed model, I'm gonna go look it up....

I've got some more shots I've taken with it at the wedding I shot yesterday, I'll post em up shortly...

Zmikers - is that HDR; I like it whatever PP was used.

Droopy - I like the "grain" in that one.

    Adam - welcome back!

Viky - very nice; you need a macro lens!!
