i just came back from 3 weeks in Laos and Vietnam, i will post some of the pics from there
i saw this location from the bus, so on the second day when we had leisure time, i didn't join the others to go tubing, rented a motorcicle instead (i only have a B driver license), rode for about 2 hrs and here i was. the light was terrible due to the rainy season, i think i saw the sun about 5 times in 3 weeks, so RAW shooting, and this is my first ever HDR, what do you think?

i really liked this Lao girl, they were selling handicrafts, kinda difficult not to buy anything (didnt like them) but after i took this pic i gave her the equivalent of a bracelet she was selling

any C&C are more than welcome, especially on the HDR as it is my first one.
Dorin
ps: both taken with 40D and 24-70

Dorin, I think that first shot is a cracker! Spectacular. But I think you need to work on the treatment a bit. The colours are good, but the halo between the sky and ground is too pronounced IMO.

Bed of Nails

1/13, f2.8, iso800, Sigma 18-50@38mm
From our local Busker Festival (my favourite weekend of the year). As I type the EXif for this photo, all I can think is "1/13s and only using iso800??? Idiot.)

Delobbo - the foreground is only distracting in the 1st one (the pano). The street shot and the park pano are killer.
dorin - nice HDR, although I think I might reduce the saturation just a bit.
Gary - cool lighting there.
