Nice reflection Gary.
Man, that's a "dark" one drama, like the intro to some horror sci-fi movie with giant killer flies. 
What do you guys think of this? Is it "too much"?...the 3 stop ND grad almost makes it look like HDR.
17-40, 20mm, 3 stop ND grad...

I like it Michael. Maybe it'd be more realistic with a 2-stop filter, but I think it looks good with the lighter foreground as well.

the detail on the fly's eyes is incredible...
I like it michaelb, I don't think its too much, but keep in mind I am a fan of the "dramatic".. ;p
oh and, point taken on the flora.. ;p

drama: great fly shot...my macros just don't turn out that well 
michael: i like the shot, i see what you mean that it looks almost HDR, but i like it nonetheless...

MichaelB I really like the shot of the cars in the field. I don't think it is over done at all......
Haven't been around to much due to work and such. I finally got my new MAC book today so have been spending endless hours setting it up. Here is the first pic on the new computer. These are some of the crazy clouds that we get around our neck of the woods.
