Damnit here we go again, first the Trained Dragonfly then the sitting Duck and now he's got a Sparrow?...the darn things even looking at him while he takes the picture (posing Sparrow). Whats that running down the right side of what ever the birds sitting on?...maybe a rope? Nice pic even if u do have it on a leash...lol

It's pretty easy and nothing original on my part. I got this idea from a friend. It's just a blank DVD with water drops placed on it using an eyedropper. You can get some nice shots just like that but what makes the colours so interesting in this case is the use of the flash. I use the Canon MR-14EX and by dismounting the flash from the front of the lens, you can place the ring at different heights and angles over the drops to refract the light differently, thus producing different colours and patterns. I took dozens of shots, each one very different. Have fun!
