Figured a fun new macro shot from an MLK day trip to the aquarium would be in order. Full album and originals here (be kind, dusting off an old 20D with a new macro lens).
I've been away for a while myself, so I thought I'd check back in. Good stuff here guys, even if the traffic is low.
Zmikers, good luck on the 365 project. I could never stick with it. I like the ones from the 8th and 9th. What have you shot recently?
Spinning, good action shots.
Herocero, marco is always my favorite. Great shot of the seahorse - aquarium shots are difficult but rewarding when nailed as you've done here.
Here are a few new geckos:
1. White Line Gecko
2. Madagascar Day Gecko
3. Flying Gecko
4. Leopard Gecko
All shot with a 50D, 100mm Macro, two Vivitar 285's, tabletop light tent, and very patient little friends.
I realize some folks don't care for the sterile/unnatural white background, but I like how it highlights the tiny features of these guys. To me, it beats trying to make plastic vivarium plants look natural.
