Thanks. I've done some conversions, which I'll be posting eventually, but right now I'm liking that deep blue of the sky. I adjust the contrast and do a very small bump in the saturation and vibrance during the Adobe CameraRAW, and then a lot of curves adjusting in Photoshop. A little sharpening. That's about it. The trick is to use RAW and the exposure has to be just right.

You mean you had to hang out on a tropical beach to take pictures? That does sound draining. I really feel your pain....

as crazy as it sounds, it *was* a lot of work and at the end of the day I felt like I was run over by a train. Imagine shooting a 12-hour long indoor event. Now imagine shooting a 12-hour long event, out in the hot tropical sun. I actually went back to the room and passed out for a couple hours (unintentionally) and missed some of the reception - luckily there was also another photog who didn't fall asleep lol. the next day I was dog tired and got some rest but still tired. I would have liked to take general photos of the resort area and such but I could not even find the energy for that.
