    recently got the sigma 17-70mm. i noticed how much nicer reds/oranges look now

    you even made me investigate those lenses, the common impression was that the Canon 28 1.8 was the best in that range? but I like your results with the Sigma.

    oh yeah another thing I have to keep in mind, the Sigma is not made for FF cams...

    From everything I've read the Sigma 50 f/1.4 is just a good as the 30mm, and it's FF compatible.

    fdexclpl - nice sunset. And I agree - the Sigma 50 is a killer lens.
