Thanks for the kind comments everyone!

Michael, the easiest way I shoot OCF now is with a RayFlash mounted on my 580exII on the camera, and a Nikon SB26 set to optical slave as my OCF. Great little setup and no extras required

My other options are with the 580 and 430 in slave to the 7D, and finally stick my 580 or Sb26's on my Skyports. Lots of options

Here's one I shot last night.

Shoey - Nice work, guessing you captured low tide?
Viky - Love the colors in that shot.
Zdzislaw - I like that grainy shot, the eyes are powerful, but for me that hat makes the shot for some reason.
Michael - nice tulip. Fun to see flowers instead of snow isn't it.

Finally got around to processing the Easter weekend shots last night.

I love this one of my daughter and her grandmother. The jetty was so cold and it was our last night with them before heading home...

First time I've been able to go outside and try out the extension tubes. A lesson I learned is that even at high shutter speeds I'm going to end up with motion blur, so next time I'm pushing the ISO up to 400 and maybe using a flash.

    Nism-that's beautiful!

Paradox--you're learning the basic rule of macro: there's never enough light or shutter speed.

    Turn--great catch! It's really powerful.
