LOL it's the fluorescent lights in the mall.
I picked up a 28-135mm IS USM before we got there so I was just testing it out.

Did you buy new or used with the lens? There is a glut of that lens for sale on Fred Miranda as lots of people are buying the 7D and others are dumping that kit lens.

Used locally. Came with a this filter mounted on it: http://www.amazon.com/72mm-Ultra-Vio.../dp/B0000BZL9J

Got it and a 50mm f/1.8 for $350 CDN so not bad I suppose considering the filter itself is a $50+ value.

Both lenses has a little dust inside so I may have to disassemble them.
