There's no way my cat would stay still enough for me to take a close up of their eye. At least not with a shorter focal length. Nice shot.
I succeeded to get this shot after several attempts over the period of one month...my cats don't let my camera anywhere close but on this particular day one of them seemed quite calm while sitting on top of my Computer table...Luckily I had my camera nearby!!! Thanks!!

Agreed, very nice shot but its a shame about the background area not being very interesting but i understand these moments cannot be staged huh! very sharp and inspirational too. You are getting rather handy with that camera.
