Dogs are denning animals, it's in their DNA. It's their instinct to feel safe in a den. Seamus goes into his crate on his own whenever he feels like taking a nap.
Alf's Adult Beverage of Choice!
Yeah I wasn't sure about the content of the other picture I was going to post, So I went with this "less inflammatory" photo instead.
I was bored when I first got the 24-70, so I dug up my old talking Alf stuffed animal and here's the result... More on the Flickr.

Or this could be YOUR head!
Well it's Halloween time and being that both my parents are pretty much Halloween Fanaticss and put on a Haunted Trail thing every year, there are always various props, limbs and guts laying around the house. Hanging from the chandalier in the dining room is this severed head. All summer long the dining room was draped in a plastic tarp and on that tarp a rolling IV. Hanger... Hanging from it? certainly not IVs. but rather long lengths of Intestines being all bloodied up.
We don't have guests often.

Just bought the Kenko extension tubes today. Here is a sample of my first "macro outing." I am pretty happy with it but more excited to do more macro work This shot was taken with the 12mm + 20mm tubes attached to the Nifty-Fifty! Only adjustments in PS were levels and a slight bump in saturation in the green background only. Oh, and the obvious horizontal crop. C&C always welcome. Cheers!

it's been a long time since i've last been here. haha! to (kind've) make up for the five months, i'll show two photos. note that neither one has been retouched in any way (besides the first one - used monochrome setting in-camera).
playing the piano.
a rather candid picture of my friends at a party. hah
