This is a great thread, so many fantastic shots. Here is another of mine, from the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. It is slightly cropped as 200mm was not quite enough (I can't justify a 1.4x, much as I would like to). A panning shot would have been cool, but I haven't really mastered those.

i called it "Damn Serious"... never saw a kid with such a look, shot while waiting for the cable car lift, the girl was sitting nearby her parents but ignored them and did not care for anything going around her. she spotted me and looked straight into the lens without changing her face, no smile, no emotion, just like that. WEIRD ....

GREAT work. delobbo. Exposure looks perfect. That's something I have to really work on. Those spot lights can really blow out the highlights.

thanks - I have to confess, it's a (single-RAW) HDR.. that helps

drama, this kung-fly is spectacular, i see you found special language with insects to make them still for a photo.
droopy, what can i say, the face in the photo scares to sh*t but it looks amazingly creative.

Droopy - I'm thinking "Children of the Corn"
Delobbo - that's how HDR should be used - spectacular shot.
