    Trying different techniques....

    Close up Portrait with Sigma 18-50mm @ 50mm with Circular polarizer in the open sunlight, Fill Flash to get rid of any harsh shadows... I liked how the colors came out

    1/200, f/6.3, ISO 400, CLP & fill flash

    Thanks for the feedback on the baby shot - will work on focus.

    Here's one I call "One Legged Flight". Taken with the 70-200mm from a boat in the SFO bay - not kidding, this gull had only one leg.

    It was a rather 'average' image in color, but with the contrasty b&w treatment it got a certain pop


    ZoicX, nice photo, however, since the main subject is the gull, it might look better with a tighter crop to emphasize him
