Good to see a shot after all the talk...

You are aware that I've posted dozens and dozens of pictures on this site, right...and have been posting them for years???

And, not just shots of objects that happen to be lying around my house trying to prove some rdiculous point like somebody around here does (obviously related to the "talk" you mention). Your post has an unfriendly tone and yet, I have never expressed anything but kindness and respect to you. And I think it unfortunate that you drag B.S. from some other B.S. thread into this one. I'm surpised and dissappointed by your words.

I like the exposure, colours & symmetry of this shot... also agree with drama that the shot would look better with bottom horizontal platform cropped off.

I'm wondering what are those grains just above the dome?

I was taking pics of the setting sun the other day, and I got this accidentally due to wrong settings...

Technically, it should be binned, however, there's something in it that draws me to it...

Straight from camera... no pp.. no saturation... no sharpening... only resize for post.

what do you think?

Well...now I'm embarassed! I don't know if you're aware but someone made a ridiculous kind of "my camera is betrer than yours" challenge (directed at me and another member) in another thread recently which I took offense to and guess I'm a little over sensitive. I'm very, very sorry that I misunderstood you and I beg your forgivness for my stupidity.

Slo40, I'd be curious how your shot would look in B&W, with all the light gradients! Good composition though. I'm a newbie too, and this forum has all the right ppl with the perfect pointers.
