Its been very quiet here lately...
So, I'll give it a push with my first real attempt at "landscapes"
You first see a photo with your mind, and then capture it with your camera!

Drama - I think the best picture by far is # 3. The extra line compared to # 4 creates a relationship and the different angle adds a certain tension to the frame. I hope that you don't mind me saying but I find nothing of interest in the first two. Can I ask what your goal was with those shots?

Drama, I agree with the others, I love the ants (although I'm not sure if I prefer #3 or #4.) But I'm not interested in #1 or #2.

High key approach at a fragile still life #1 (without blowing out the whites)
Same shot with a more conventional DOF, f4 Vs f16 #2
Take a look at the larger size
On #3 Vs #4
My personal preference would be for #3, as that is how I saw the scene
#4 was based on a suggestion by a friend on flickr
