    Nice shot viky, did you use the 50 for this one ?
    Its a bit over exposed on the top left, difficult to control with the 1.8 wide open

    Canon 30D - 1/200s f/11.0 at 17.0mm iso200

    From my trip to the Grand Canyon last weekend. Taken about 5 miles down inside. Camera sitting on a rock with 10 second timer set. Took about 20 trys to get this picture !

    Two from today....let me know which you like better (I'm working hard on my composition lately)....

    Both are from Canon 60mm macro and both shot at f/3.2 (love this lens!)...

    Nope, with the 18-55 at 55mm f/6.3.

    The source of light was the window towards the left of her face, and if i metered off the bright part of her left cheek, then the right part of her face was turning our very dark

    So i went with this compromise instead, and it turned out ok.
