Fuji, Canon or Kodak?
I cannot decide which P&S to get!! I currently have a Kodak C875 with a broken flash that renders it useless indoors. This is the second time the flash has broken. I have done HOURS of research and don't know where to go from here. Here are my choices:
Fuji F40 or F31: I like the high ISO option, but I am wary of the slow writing and shot to shot times.
Canon A630 or A570 IS: I like the specs on these but I was disappointed with the color of the pictures on the LCD in the store. They seemed very grey and dark. Is this an LCD thing or an image thing?
Kodak Z885 or C875 (with a warranty): I have not been able to find any info on the 885 and I REALLY do not want a third broken 875 in less than a year! However, I love the color of the Kodak pics and the fast shot to shot time and the amount of video you can get on a 1GB card.
I mostly take indoor action shots of my one year old and pictures on my annual vacation to the beach. I am looking to spend about $200. I am a novice who likes S/A priority controls. Since the movie mode on the C875 still works well, is it less of a priority on the new camera.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

you've answered your own question. the fuji wins that race by a country mile.

I would opt for the F40 because of the SD card option.

F31 has A/S controls while F40 is auto. xD card is a bit of a pain but other advantages should make that negligible, in my opinion.
schaeferchick630, I'm not sure what you mean by slow writing and shot to shot time but F31 is not slower than any PnS cameras I have used. The burst mode is slow; that's for sure.
Note, however, that Fuji tends to use higher ISO than necessary when used on Auto which is another reason I'd recommend F31 since you can use the manual controls to help when selection lowest ISO possible. There is a mode on F40 that let you control ISO though, I believe.
Other than that, I agree Fuji is class leader for lowlight shots and I bought one for that reason alone.

The overwhelming response from all sites was Fuji! Now the search for the best price begins!.

Don't look for the best price, look for a good price from a reputable retailer. If you are only looking at price you'll get a sleezy outfit that won't deliver what you think you are getting.

If buying on-line try and stick with one of these retailers
