Nice shots there Martyn. I like the first one the most. Looks like you could have used a GND filter. Where is the light on the water coming from in the second shot?

Hi there - yes - I have yet to invest in some filters - good idea! The light is coming from the late setting sun which is behind the cloud structures - I thought it was quite an interesting effect?

Yeah it looks like the overexposed sun blends right into the clouds, making it seem like that light is coming out of no where.

Yes some nice shots there I like the last and the first ones best. I guess you have a wide screen monitor at home too from the size you posted Welcome to the forums by the way as I see it was only your 4th post.

Oops - yes, wide screen designed - I hope it's not too much of a problem..

Thanks for the welcome - yes it's one of only a few sights blocked by our work filters - I guess only a matter of time before they block this one too
