Using Old Lenses
I just bought a new Sony Alpha A100K DSLR. I thought I could mount my old Minolta lenses on it. No can do. Does Sony or anyone sell an adapter so I can use them? Better yet...is it worth it? Should I just see if I can get a few bucks for them and start over with lenses made for this DSLR?

Don't give up too easily ...
Minolta AF lenses (A-mount) are all over the place on ebay (<- click here), so you can get them pretty cheap.
If you start buying into new SONY-glass, right off the bat, you'll rapidly defeat your monetary advantage/levelage of Minolta-made glass.
Also, there are a number of lenses available through "third-party" (TAMRON, SIGMA, Tokina - made for the Minolta-mount) that are also quite useful on the SONY A100.
Give it a look-see ... before you give up

A Photographer Is Forever
Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.
