    Another thread for Porny (Forno)

    Why? Cuz I can.

The best part is, I got 'em both for well under the cost of a new Mark II N!

    1D Mark II = $2215
    1D Mark I = $750

    vs.

    1D Mark II N = $3390

Fortunately I didn't read those trems.

Unfortunately I don't have the glass to back it up. These are just bodies, which come & go like a fart in a high wind. Glass is what's truly impressive....and CW can humble us all.
    Ouch.

lol true. He destroys us with his images, and then has no shame in trampling our heads with a photo of his white sharks lined up too.

If that were the case I'd go out and buy one of each of the L's tomorrow. Unfortuneately its' talent not glass that is humbling- and I continue to be humbled by far more than just CW on these forums.

I feel the same way... I wish there were more inspiring things to shoot here... I mean there is, but I'm so busy with work I can't really drive out too far... and the weather's been so cold and overcast lately

I'm dying to get my Alienbee unit outside and shooting some hotties already

Glass is humbling too and you know it. We all desire to have that stuff, whether we need it or not. It's humbling and jealousy-inducing to see it lined up in someone else's kitchen but not our own.

But what's even MORE humbling is seeing others produce excellent images with equipment far inferior to what we have.
    Ouch.

I'd rather shoot people than anything else around here. It's a seriously boring place, no matter how you slice it.
