What's your latest addition to your wall?

What's your latest addition to your wall and what made it wallspace worthy for you?

Here's mine an 8"x12" print of a scene from our latest family holiday. I printed it because the leading lines of the telescope domes drew my eye in nicely yet it still contained the family doing their thing. I'm a sucker for blue shades too and couldn't believe I kept them despite the abscence of a polariser.

Tip if you have Lightroom or ACR...if you like those blues, add +30 Vibrance to an image and watch the sky...

Beyond 30 is the tipping point where no oversaturation occurs, IMO. You can go to 50 if you're using a neutral profile though.

Nice DPR. I like the shapes in that one.

I actually added a few shots to the wall recently. I'll show this one since it got the largest spot. I printed it at 14"x22".

    Wow, nice exposure Lukas.
Everythings just right and I love the nice clean red tailights with no oncoming traffic. Did you have your mates block the street

Haha, no. It was pretty early in the morning, so not much traffic.

Wow, that is a great shot, Lukas!!!

I just recently had these 2 printed out, thinking of putting them either in my little home-office, or maybe the garage. They are old, but among my favorites:

I know this isn't what you menat but i actually have three new things for my walls, they're not hanging yet, but they are back from the framer and ready to go:

Desolation Angel by BROM. (The logo isn't in my print)

Child of Peace by Lawrence Allen Williams.

I also have the Child of Peace sister painting the Child of War. She's in red armor, red hair and holding a dagger. I love the Desolation Angel because well i'm a dark kid and so i enhoy those things and LAWilliams does some awesome fantsay art. I plan on hanging these in my extra room, where I plan on setting up a small 'workshop' for editing photos, moving in lights for a small portrait space and on one wall i plan on covering it entirely in comic book pages.

The comic book pages i'm going to use are drawn and inked by Tsutomu Nihei, my favorite Manga artist, he did a Wolverine short seris called "Snikt!" I'm going to start with the cover in the top left corner of the wall, then do every page left to right as if you're reading the comic book until the wall is covered. Here are some of the pages and what not:

    So there ya go!

Sooner or later I will hang photos I've done on my walls, But i have a hard time picking out which is my best work. I just can't detach myself from the images I take and look at them objectively. They all pretty much suck to me. I'd rather pay homage to other people's work by hanging it on my walls.

    ~Cory

PS: I also have various pin up things to go on my workspace walls too, Prints of paintings by the Hildebrant brothers, Vargas and Olivia- because Pin up is what got me into Drawing and Photography in the first place.

I just bought this for my kitchen/dinning room. It's a painting created by a friend of mine. 250 bucks for a 16x24 original piece. I can't wait to pick it up.

I took this one of my dog a few weeks ago. The light was great, I just did a teeny little color correction in Lightroom, but it's pretty much SOC.
