For another 30D? What for? Or is it going to be your first 30D I am abit confused here since your sig. seems to indicate you have a 30D already.
I have both and I enjoy the XT for travelling around. And I still have some sentimental attachment to it as it has proven itself in winning some monetary awards. Are there anything that your XT can't do that you need to sell it?
I won't sell the XT yet until all current stock of XTs are gone because u will be competing with brand new XT at the store at heavily discounted rate.

I think i'm just going to keep the camera for secondary use. the 30d is kinda large for me to carry around and operate with one hand... I suppose I will get used to it but so far not too bad....

You'll be looking at that XT with disgust soon enough.

You'll get used to it in no time flat. The 30D with a battery grip is my small carry around camera.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.
