    Camera Error Code: 0x31

Hi everybody, I use a Sony A100K and lately this message has been appearing on my screen.
I reboot the camera and it's gone, but eventually it comes back up and the most intriguing thing is that the flash doesn't respond.

I'm new here so I donīt know else, does anybody know what I'm talking about?

    Txs, leen.

    Red face I haven't seen it ...

I suspect this type of problem might be better asked on the following support board:

    http://www.camera-info.com

    or

    SONY Support @

    Technical Information Center :

    Opening hours:
    Monday through Friday - 9:00 to 17:00
    * Excluding year-end/new year holidays

There is also a firmware update you might want to try.

Although it does sound like you may have a hardware fault, with the flash fouling up and all.

Txs Don, I don't what I'd without you!
I spent all night reading your comments on this camera, you cleared lods of doubts.
Unfortunately I also suspect hardware problems, as my location is Argentina I think I'll go for the other forum option, see what they say down there.
I'm quite sad coz it's a brand new gear with so little use, anyways I'll keep my fingers crossed.
    Thank you again.
