Will the cost of canons decrease in the spring with the intro of a new digital SLR?

I read on the Canon web page that they will be introducing a "new state of the art" digital camera in the spring. It's called the EOS-1D Mark III Digital SLR. Do you think that the Eos line of cameras below that will come down slightly in price?

The Canon Mark III is a Pro camera with a list price of roughly $4000.00 so it shouldn't have any inpact at the Canon consumer line of cameras. Those prices are more diven by the competion from other companys offerings.

Since this new camera will have an MSRP of nearly $4000, I doubt it would have any effect on the XTi or 30D. Maybe on the 5D.

The 30D came down a bit a while ago (double rebates) -- then went back up (when the rebates expired).
