Went to visit my sister. She lives in the Sierras, near Yosemite. Took these on a hike up the creek that feeds Bass Lake.

Manzanitas have a very pretty red bark


An overcast afternoon, and the colors just popped--white snow, brown leaves, green moss

Thanks, Lilchilichoco. Yes, California is an amazingly beautiful place. These shots were with a tripod--my hands aren't very steady as I continue to drink lots of coffee into my 40s!
