    Digital cameras and magnets

I was told that I broke someone's camera, because I put a magnet near it. Is it really possible to break a digital camera that easily?

    Exclamation Caution ...

This is a question that requires serious professional and engineering level response. I recommend contacting the manufacturer and requesting a formal response. Post what you receive in reply, of course ... but do not determine responsibility via heresay on a forum.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.
