    Canon S3IS or Sony H2 or H5?

I've narrowed down my choices to a Canon S3IS, Sony H2, or Sony H5. The reason I'm considering the H5 is for the size of the LCD screen. I don't know if that's worth the extra money though. I'll use the camera primarily for family shots - both inside and outside. Please help me make my final selection.

    Thanks.

Aside from making it easier to frame and review the shot, the bigger lcd just makes it so much more enjoyable to hand the camera to your family and friends and immediately start showing off and enjoying the pics at a nice size. For me that's actually the most important benefit of a large lcd. I just got the Panasonic TZ1. I was also considering the bigger FZ7. They both have 2.5" lcd's, but the cheaper TZ1 actually has 207,000 pixels compared to the FZ7's 114,000 pixels. That was an important deciding factor for me. Good luck.

The H5 doesn't appear to be that much more than the S3 (but remember the Memory Stick...). The S3 actuated LCD will extend its usability, but the EVF is poor, while the H5 EVF has more pixels than the S3 LCD... I myself find a diopter invaluable...
