    Kodak's POTD 13 December '04

    What a result for a humble DX6490.

I received this email and am so thrilled, I had to post it.

    Dear Paul,

I'm one of editors for Kodak's Picture of the Day -- and I'm writing
    to say Congratulations!

"London Eye" has been accepted for Picture of the Day and will
appear December 13, 2004 on the Home Page of kodak.com
    http://www.kodak.com
and every few minutes on the Kodak Times Square Gallery
    in New York City.

Be sure to tell your friends and family, and keep submitting your
    pictures!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

    Best regards,

    Marianna O'Brien

Is anyone at Times Square on the 13th? I would love to see a snap of it.

Was taken at Dungeness in Kent back in the summer. (Under the shadow of the Nuclear power station.)

Was taken at R.A.F. Hendon, North London yesterday.

    Paint Shop Pro 9.

I converted to b/w using the channel mixer and selected the sky and messed around with it for a bit of fun.
I didn't know it was going to spring up in here, but if you like that effect, it is quite easy to do.
    All the best, Paul.
