    Testing for Santa

Well, I'll be combining some funds this holiday season with some hard earned overtime and T&E expenses I've accumulated recently to bring home a new lens to my lineup. I'm very very excited about this lens. I have in hand and I'm currently testing it for Santa so it can go back into the box and be opened on Christmas! Yeehawwww! (For now the identity of the lens is withheld. . . only the observant will know - its actually very easy to tell) Images are bland boring 'round the house crap, my apologies.

    Some tests. . .

    ISO 400 | 1/6 | F4.0: Old bastard!

    ISO 200 | 1/20 | F2.8

    ISO 200 | 1/13 | F3.2

    ISO 200 | 1/250 | F2.8 + Flash

    ISO 200 | 1/100 |F3.2

    ISO 400 | 1/25 | F4.0

    ISO 200 | 1/15 | F3.5

I think you should have a good idea of what lens it is by now. . . if not check the details in the last image.

You guys are on the money.

I'm hoping this baby replaces a few of my current lenses. . . and fills the need for something wider than 28mm. . .
