Although it's difficult to post right after the Master, someone has to do it!
Thank you that's very kind but no, not even close. There are many people on these and other boards that are far more talented than I.
I will admit I've improved a bit but that's a combination of participating in forums such as this, studying the basics, and practice, practice, practice.
I purchased my S6k Nov. 06 so it's almost 2 years old as I write this, and I've shot 11,609 shots with this camera. (Including the Hunter moon I shot this morning )
Throw in a thousand shots on the F10 or the wife's F30 and I'm shooting around 6000 shots per year. So it's a commitment, but a worthy one and I have to tell ya, I just love to shoot.

Paul how in the world do you know how many pictures you have taken on the camera? I would love to know just to let my hubby know how much fun I have with mine.
I think my camera will be 2 in March.

If you have your camera setup to continuously count you can see the count in your review mode while on the camera. Since it's only a 4 digit number you have to do a bit of math because the camera rolls over to zero after 9999. Since my last shot was 1609 and I know I've already passed this threshold it has to be 11,609. Normally it's displayed as xxx xxxx in the upper right corner it breaks down like this. The xxx is the number of shots on that date and the xxxx is total number of shots from the camera.

All three photos share about the same colors. Which one do you prefer?

Need a fisheye adapter lens for my S6000fd
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a 58mm fisheye adapter lens. Has someone here used a fisheye adapter lens with the S6000fd ?!
Maybe someone who has knowledge about these can help me out.
Would this be any good?!
http://cgi.ebay.com/0-42X-FISHEYE-LE...d=p3286.c0.m14
I am looking for a cheap solution, just to create some effects.
Thank you.

I prefer the second one Gabriel. The blue berries are a nice contrast to the earth tones of the leaves.

went exploring this little area by my house...
What can i change to make the colors not so "washed out"? these ones i dropped the exposure a bit on the Flickr editor, and i have had to in the past.
comments encouraged.

Well this thread is for displaying shots by the S6000fd, at least it has been up until this point so you would be the only person not shooting with that cam. The help we might be able to offer could be limited since I'm betting most of us haven't used that cam. That being said I'm not opposed to opening up the thread if the rest of members are on board with it.
What's your say everyone?

I feel the same. Unfortunately I was late with about 1 week, in the beginning
the leaves color was more green and dark red and it would have been better.
Thanks for your comment!
