thanks for the kind words heres another one of the rainbow, again used the auto colour etc tools in ps and also toyed with the photo filter, used a "cooling" one in a light shade of blue.

sorry to go offtopic for a second, but how do i go about taking a photo such as this http://www.dcresource.com/forums/att...7&d=1182430942 ? i know its something to do with long exposures but any idea on what mode an settings the camera should be in? thanks!
Fuji S6500fd [and a faint idea about how to use it]

Seo, that's very nice shot, maybe great, but I just don't like horses being in shadow, that makes your picture without primary subject -- is that a horse, or woods?

Thank you for all your wonderful pictures. I am now a proud owner of the s6500fd after obsessively checking this thread every day for a long time.

I'd especially like to thank P_Schneider and Cozmo who really sold the camera to me.

The not so good thing is that it is a christmas present from my girlfriend and even though she'll let me use it now, I have to wait for christmas to get all the accessories (including the memory card!!). So for now it stays safely indoors with me and will only be used for 5 photos at a time (all I can fit onto the internal memory using 6mp N jpg). At least getting to Christmas and being able to shoot in raw and outdoors (with my protection filter on) gives me something to look forward to! See you all on Dec 25th!!!

It's more of a landscape to me. I guess I didn't think about a primary subject. I shot it because I was enjoying the mood of the evening.

I went to a music festival outside of Atlanta called the Echo Project recently and got some good pics. Some of the night shots are a little OOF because of the long exposure times hand-held, but it shows what the camera is capable of as far as night time shots go. Here is a small sample of what I captured:

    Common

    Perpetual Groove
