I like your photos, Jarret, especially the last one with exceptional composition, very special colors and contrast and nice subject.

You can see below some photos taken in the central park of Bucharest - called Cismigiu and older than a century - with a slightly "younger" and well kept building. The front is on the street but the back you see is opening to the park.

Yes, they are. Wood was a main construction material for roofs, balconys and sculpured details in Bucharest at the beginning of 20th century.

Very nice boat and marina under a perfect sky you got there, but I like even more the pattern in the following one !

    See the bug shadow below?

Ok hopefully I transition to Fall now

One thing about trees...they really aren't the best thing to shoot with this type of camera. You're almost always shooting against a bright sky and it makes for lots of fringing in the branches. All large sizes are on my flickr page.

Went photo taking with some locals on Flickr

Really happy the forest ones came out nicely. Had a lot of trouble with foliage things last Fall. I get so lost taking pictures in a forest, don't you?

    First night photos

These are related to the "Triumph Arch" in Bucharest, shot in the evening of the City's Day (some 549 years of documented existence...). I'd like some criticism on these ones...

Had some cool storms roll through tonight. Here are the best of the shots. All are untouched except for crop and resize. Shot jpg using final 3, ISO 100 1sec.

    Night shots

Although it's difficult to post right after the Master, someone has to do it!

So, here are two of my first real night shots. Any comments/advices will be very useful to me...
