    The bokeh looks prety darn good for a cheep lens! Nice idea, I like it.

    Dunno if I like this shot or not tim. The atmosphere is wonderful but I've never been a fan of complete defocus.

    The number of aperture blades determine the qualities of the out of focus highlights. When a lens is wide open, the blades are fully retracted and do not enter into the equation, therefore not affecting the bokeh. Stop it down to close the blades and that's where you'll see the differences.

    I thought the same thing about the bird unfortunatly it's a sign that says "north pole" I guess I should photoshop it out though, pain in butt to match the tone and grade though.
