Heard you callin' Forno but it's hard yakka getting down the stairs on crutches and brace
(bet you can't guess how many phone calls I've missed).
Op went well....came home next day and the cheese and kisses has been taking good care of me. Sleeping is a pain in the butt because there's only one thing that should remain stiff all night under the blankets......and unfortunately for me, it's my leg at the moment .
Out of respect to this forum, I snuck in a little "Internet purchase" before I went into hospital knowing that it should arrive while I was sitting around home for the next few weeks.
As of this morning I am now the proud owner of a Soligor 1.7 Tele Converter and will create a new post telling all about it.
The Soligor was a sneaky little purchase - Coldrain used to get good mileage out of his. I'd be keen to know your findings.

...but not as sneaky as I hoped
It was supposed to arrive during the day when the wife is out and about. It arrived this morning around 9:30 just before she left to pick up her dad from the airport.
Her speed to the door is a bit quicker than me at the moment.....so I got busted big time
Yes, it was Coldrain's previous threads that directed me to the Soligor.

See the Surgeon on Thursday for post-op check-up....then he gives the go-ahead for torture sessions......although he called them "physio"
Brace remains on when walking and sleeping for approx 6 weeks, to protect the new ligament graft. As it is my right leg, this also means I can't drive because of the brace.
Exercise bike at approx 4-6 weeks, gentle running (in straight line) in approx 12-16 weeks.....and hopefully sport (tennis) in about 6 months. Although , all of this will be at the discretion of the Physio and Dr.
