As far back as I read, I saw some pretty cool photos. The cat, the woman, the launch, etc. Been sort of busy with the local Flickr group shooting and having picnics. In between the camera club and other things. I don't know if anyone took any photos during "earth hour" but I took a few shots locally both before and after they turned off some of the lights.

This particular photo was taken before the lights were turned off and though it is similar to one of my older photos, I took this photo at twilight and wanted to capture some of the new construction which is shown off to the left. Of course, when they actually turned the lights off, I was aiming in a different direction, i.e. toward the strip. The sky does look a little funky to me as a result of the upload.

Could have put this in a leaf thread I suppose...
It's the emerging Red Dogwod leaves on our Dogwood -
The buds become white berries then turn to a blossom/flower
I am keeping a photo record of it's progress this year - along with a couple of
    other items.
This caught my eye as the sun was back lighting it.

Great capture K1W1. Glad I don't have a photography topic like that near my home.

TNB, beautiful shot. I especially like the fountain, but that's an occupational thing since I work for the company that made it
