    This deer hangs around our place, and occasionally we give him apples. He has reason to stick around and not run away. He still stares at me, but at least he let me take some decent photos.

    Nice lighting on the tripod. It gives that 'main feature' effect. I've been looking for a nice, sturdier tripod that would support my D90 and Nikkor 105 micro (the heaviest camera and lens combo). I'm trying to find something around $100 but no luck yet.

    There was a new cub born here recently. Here he is playing in the nursery. And since he was pretty quick, I plan to go back with a faster lens before he gets too large. Dang, I hate shooting through glass...
