Saturday was a day from hell in this part of the world.

In actual fact the temperature on Saturday got to 46C and then dropped to the low 30's in about 20 minutes as a cold front came through at around 5.30pm.

I spent the weekend around the Singleton area near Newcastle in New South Wales, it averaged 43 degrees potentially upto 45, but luckily where i was was also next to a creek. But i didn't want to risk bringing my D300 out there knowing what the weekend was forecast to be, so unfortunately no photos from me there!
