    That's the Strathbogie State Forest in central Victoria, Australia and they are Eculatypts (trees).

    This is a typical NZ forest. Well it was in 1977 or there abouts.

    Lovely image Rooz, the white of the butterfly stands out well withthe colour of the flowers, background nicely out of focus.

    K1W1 - have you thought about restoring that old 1977 shot...?

    Well - I had an hour or so free time today - so I got the camera out and basically just played around a little...
    This shot - hanging out my bathroom window - is the view looking through the rooftops towards Croydon (in the background) taken at 200mm on my Tamron 28 - 200
    (I might post another like this tomorrow...)

    thanks geoff, really like your rooftop image, it's so crisp and clean. He was playing at a funeral on the beach and in the end he stepped in the water and began to play.
