I wouldve been interested to see how that last shot wouldve looked without the SB/flash being used, in terms of exposure.

One more shot to share, considering im on a roll with the sharing on here thing these last few days :P
All three photos posted recently shot on D300+18-200VR (this and last image with no PP, 1st has unsharp mask applied only, no other adjustments!)

It's 19 degrees F here in Seattle, which is 30 degrees below what we're used to. Unreasonably cold. However, the skies are brilliant blue and the sun angle is low all day; great for shooting.
JPEG from RAW+JPG Basic on D40 (I wish I could shoot RAW + JPEG Fine...have to upgrade camera).

its a tad hot on Lucas' face here, sb900 would have worked better for that shot and it could be fixd in PP by toning it down, but i'm pretty lazy.
