Hey guys, long time no chat. Been real busy, photography and other wise.
Not much to report besides shooting my ass off and the D80 still taking a beating. Pushing 35k clicks now IIRC.

I have to say, seeing your guys shots again, wow. I'm pretty much speechless. You guys are artists of the highest regard

Rooz, that kid is getting big now man

Anyway, down to business, we had a bit of a scary night Thursday with thunder and lighting almost a constant. I managed to grab a few shots and tried a different look for each.

Lemme know what you guys think, thanks

    Till next time
    Anco

I am posting purely as I am pleased it came out this good under the circumstances!
It was another cold grey day, so and I am already at 640 ISO
I have played with some settings to see if I am happier with the results
This is Type II Colour space (- even though, for some reason, the exif data recorded it as type 1) - WB manual at 5300K
    20th sec @F5.6
    Tamron 28 - 200 @ 200mm (I really like this lens!)
So the shutter speed is way too low - should have been 300th sec really!!!
This is our cat venturing out into the garden - only really brave enough
    because I am there!
(Oh ~ PS: - straight off the camera and resized - just so I can show how I am getting
    on with camera settings etc..)

Well I finally made the move and purchased a 35mm F/2! I LOVE this lens. It is sooo sharp, the bokeh is smooth, it can focus at about 5" from an object. Its awesome! Here is a shot that shows clarity and another that shows it working at F/2!
