nice flash work Rich. that video is working out well for you. you could have slowed down the shutter speed just a little to let in a little more ambient light to fill some of the shadows to the left.

not the best photo but an illustration of why i longed for af-s. kid bolting right at me waving his arms all over the joint. 7 frames taken, 5 in focus. that simply was not possible with the af-d.

Now that you've taken a photo to see what it does you can put it aside and never use it again
I have a few other things I want to try it on. Then I will probally go into hiding. I want to see what it does with all the chrome on my motorcycle. I tried it on Christmas lights, it doesn't do well.
I'm running out of things to post. There's not much to take pictures of here right now. All the leaves are gone, all the nice cars are put up for the Winter, on warm days it rains, on sunny days it's cold.
Maybe I can get some pic's today.

Thanks DPR Yeah I've recently started reviewing my photographs from my travels overseas and finding some gems, unfortunately its also brought upon the realisation now that in having left it sufficiently long to lose that emotive attachment that not as many photos as i thought were great were really as good as my memory recalled them to be! :P
