Awesome dog portrait Turo! I love the black and white treatment. It gives that very classic look.

I haven't had anything to post lately but I'd like to share this with everyone here in the Nikon dSLR forum. I posted this on the D40 thread as well.
I joined a Travel Photo Contest for United Airlines' Hemispheres Magazine and one of my photos taken from my beloved D40 was picked. Check it out! It's the Empire State Building shot from the Top of the Rock.

To everyone that gave me input on my images (and continuing to do so), I just want to thank all of you! Every comment/critique you gave helps me a become a better photographer and I continue to improve. I appreciate everything all of your help You all rock!!!!

I posted part of this car a while back, so I think I need to show the whole car. It's a '56 Chevy Delivery. It's localy owned so I hope to get some better pic's next spring.
Maybe tomorrow I will post the red '57 in the reflection.

Love this shot - you got the bird frozen nicely in mid air and the people watching just perfectly OOF in the back ground - just enough to see them watching - but out of focus enough not to distract
    Nice one!
