    Now I wonder how they would have looked like with the D700.... :-)

    OK I'll start this off today.
    I took this in the Summer after a thunder storm. These clouds were to the Northeast.
    This photo was kind of flat looking with the trees on the dark side. I adjusted the light levels in Photo Shop and tweakid the contrast and saturation.
    I have found out that I can fix photos that have poor color as shot.

    50 mm F1.8D, ISO 200. 1/50s. f/3.5, Auto mode

    anp, cool shot, it would be even better if the footprints walked into the ocean and then never returned ... thought provoking ...

    Agreed, or if they were made with bare feet. I would find that a bit more aesthetically pleasing. But it looks great the way it is, regardless!!

    I like the shot a lot too, I'd prefer a horizontal horizon though.
