    The flash must be what kept the exposure right.
    I have the same flash but haven't used it much.

    Yeah...I have been going through all the tutorials and readings I can find on it. Its a lot more complicated than I thought it would be and the manual sucks...its like me trying to read french. But so far I love it a lot!

    I've been taking pictures of landscapes and the fall colors so I've had no use for a flash, but I need to learn how to use it.

    I doubt if the manual, tutorial, and other reference material will be of much help. That is not exactly a 'stock' engine.
