lol..superb. Love the purple...not a conventional macro but still works for sure.

Rooz, did you say you used four strobes? You make the photos look like they took very little effort as they look very natural. Thats a real talent!

No, the only dead prior to photographing model was that dragonfly. Some of the spiders are dead after photography models

I'm handholding all my bug shots. I crank the lens to 1:1 or 1:1.3 and then drift my camera forward or aft to get the focus where I want it. I get much more keapers that way than trying for the ultimate tripod shot with everything moving around.

There's a branch in front of the bridge shot.

    (Somebody had to say it).

What is the Exif, particularly the shutter speed?

    :-)

    Exposure: 0.1 sec (1/10)
    Aperture: f/4
Focal Length: 82 mm (i.e. set at 55mm on my lens)
    ISO Speed: 800

    Guess that VR helped!

Amazing shot, Rooz! I still can't get over how interesting their eyes look.

Kiwi. I like the color version. I wasn't sure if the first post was B&W . I thought it was a pic' of a heavy frost.

Nice wasp Rooz. Don't make him mad.

Herc I like the way you used the bridge as the background for that branch.
I have some nice pic's of a fence with a tiger behind it.

Seriously though I like your shot Herc, VR did the trick.
