    Put the exif up with photo, but raw is the key here, there is still a little clipping. I know that I will have to add fill in post because taken at high noon, I will loose face detail in the shadows because of the helmets.

    Really all I did was add fill in Lightroom, then additional contrast lost by adding fill.

    How did you judge the exposure at the time? Look at the histogram for the whites and let it blow a little? Did you recover the highlights at all in PP? Did you need a lot of fill? What is CW? Thanks Rich, this is really helping me.

    Nice bugs Rooz. Do you use the Macro setting or manual settings? Our bugs are leaving for the year with with the weather getting cold.

    Thanks. I usually use manual settings also. The Praying Mantis I posted was in macro mode, It was the first time I used that lense in macro mode.

    I'd better stop typing before things get heated. We wouldn't want blood to flow or heart rates to elevate.

    Puns aside the kids just pulled this pose when I was photographing a random sign. 50mm, F/4, 1/80, ambient. Shadows raised in curves.
