My sister asked me a few weeks ago to help her learn how to play tennis so she can make the high school team in the coming months so of course i said yes.

She's getting pretty good rather quickly, i think she'll do fine.

more from this tennis upload on my flickr.

    Testing my new lens.

I see what people mean the depth of field gets pretty shallow at 300mm compared to what I'm used to.

The various news stations were filming followup stories to the bashed flamingo. This chap talked to me for an hour while we waited for the birds to move. I really prefer still photography. I can't get my head around opening shots, mixing wide, medium and closups and combining them to create movement and show a story.

Thanks LBG I really liked it but wasn't sure anyone else would. Funny how that is I thought people would go for 1 but I prefer 2 because it has meaning for me.

    DPR,
I like #1. The "eyes" sort of reminds me of "Gentle Giant - The Silverback" by Thomas D. Mangelsen. For those who don't know of Mangelsen, check out his site. Top class photographer with numerous publications, photo galleries, and so on.

Meanwhile, here's a photo I took yesterday since I had an extra day off from the day job. Soon it will be more cars (SEMA) and jets (Aviation Nation).
