    Got out in the garden today and took a few shots of our Purple Smoke bush
    (Cotinus Coggigria - Royal Purple).
    It's just so vivid at this time of the year.
    This is just a leaf, but such a lot of interesting colours and patterns!!

    We have 2 Flamingoes at Adelaide Zoo. They're 75 years old. They're irreplaceable since our quarantine rules prevent any more coming into the country.

    Some mongrels just attacked them today, bashing one of the birds but it's recovering. Fortunately they caught the culprits, wish we had capital punishment

    Here's a shot I took of one a couple months back.
    18-200VR @ 200mm, F8, 1/320, ISO 400, -0.7EV and further darkened in post.

    Nikkor 70-300 @ 300mm, 1/400, F5.6, ISO set to Auto, chose ISO 200.
